Since its release in September 2005 this DVD "Strathmore And The Angus Glens" has proved to be a best seller throughout Scotland. Produced and released, by borders based firm A.T. Videos, this video features all the beautiful scenery in and around Blairgowrie and the Strathmore Glens.

Blairgowrie accordionist Tommy Newcomen, who provides the music, for the new dvd said we really take our countryside for granted when you see this video, said Tommy. Blairgowrie is featured for about 10 minutes and the riverside and Wellmeadow gardens look great as does the footage from all the glens and villages in the area.

The new release called, "Strathmore and the Angus Glens includes shots of Blairgowrie, the River Ericht, the River Isla, Alyth, Meigle, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Dunkeld, Loch of The Lowes, Glamis Castle and Village, The 2003 Glamis Transport Extravaganza, Brechin, Brechin Castle Centre, Reekie Linn, Peel Farm, Bridge of Cally, Glen Proson, Glen Esk, Glen Isla, glen Lethnot, Glen Clova, Edzell, Glen Doll and much more.

Tunes included on the video tracks include the Gordon Pattullo compositions Angels of Dunblane and the Furrows end and others like the Ashokan farewell, some of Tommy's own compositions, as well as favourites such as Highland Cathedral, Grannie's Highland Home, dark Lochnagar, and dark Island as well as Jigs, Reels, Marches and Waltzes.
